12 Craft materials for the production of reliquaries
A second collection – again in reused boxes – is made up of materials for the manufacture of reliquaries: reliquary cases, sewing supplies, pieces of fabric, thread, metal saint figurines, paper images of various saints, small paper decorations and paper labels with the words 'This cloth has touched the body of Saint Rita'. There are also a number of finished reliquaries and one that is partly finished. Such craft materials are a highly authentic, moving and endearing testament to the sisters’ ceaseless diligence, care and dedication.
