And a boy or a girl might be a Prince or Princess who has fallen under the Ogre’s spell.AnthonyThere is in fact, a stone tower - the Ogre’s Castle, hidden in the middle of this enchanted forest.AlexThe Ogre takes his prisoner, or prisoners to the Ogre’s Castle where they can hide in, on, or near the stone tower. The rest of the group must look the other way waiting here at the stone seat for at least 60 seconds.The group can then choose to go off searching for the Ogre as a single team, in rival teams, or just by themselves. SarahThis would depend on the ages and numbers of the group. Remember to always stay with a grown up. THE WINNERAlexThe winner saves the prisoners and breaks the spell by finding and touching the hidden Ogres. Managed by Head Gardener, Alex Slazenger and a team of four gardeners, Powerscourt Gardens were designed from 1731 onwards, with the desire to create a garden which was part of the wider surrounding landscape. Powerscourt Gardens include The Walled Gardens, The Italian Garden, The Dolphin Pond, The Japanese Gardens, Pets Cemetery and Pepperpot Tower, among other features and attractions.
