CIRCLES OF AWARENESS Sarah From here you can make out the design concept behind this garden. Anthony The innermost circle, the valley floor symbolises the inner self. Here you will find a Pagoda, winding paths, a trickling stream and pretty Japanese bridges. Alex The next circle is marked by a ring of Chinese fortune palms. These have been grown in China and Japan for thousands of years. Anthony They were first brought to Europe in 1830. Alex As we pass through the circle we gain greater knowledge of the world. Sarah Moving up the sides of the valley we pass the upper circle. Anthony This provides stunning views over the Japanese Garden and the Sugar Loaf Mountain in the distance. THE TROLLS BRIDGE Sarah You will find a family action quest at Trolls Bridge called ‘The Ogres Castle.’ The search for the ogre works best for adults with older children. Anthony The path from here leads to the Killing Hollow and Tower Valley.
